Sourav Kothari has secured his place in the top eight of the Men’s Snooker event at the World Games 2025, topping Group C with a superior frame average.
Kothari began his campaign with a commanding 2-0 win over Wales’ Zac Cosker, before narrowly going down 1-2 to Darryl Hill of the Isle of Man. With Cosker later defeating Hill 2-0, the Indian cueist edged ahead on frame difference to claim the group’s top spot.
Seeded fourth overall for the knockout stage, Kothari will face China’s Xiao Guodong in his opening quarterfinal clash tomorrow (12th August) at 11:00 AM
