Very Sadly, Cue
Sports India informs that former cuesports player who turned as
coach has passed away this afternoon due to a tragic heart attach.
Mukesh had remained
a very talented cuesports player. He was India No.2 in Billiards in
the year 1995 and had become the first Indian to reach into knockout
stage of World 9Ball Pool Championship in the year 2002 in Cardiff,
UK (in Round of 64 he lost to Steve Davis).
He retired from his playing career in
the year 2003 and involved actively into active coaching and
producing cuesports talent in the country. Many of his students has
performed very well in national championships and he was always
found watching matches in the arena and discussing / encouraging
youngsters before and after their matches.
His contribution in excelling cuesports
will always be remembered.
Mukesh survived with his wife and two
sons.
Cue Sports India condole on his sad
demise and pray to almighty to rest his soul in peace.
