Pankaj Advani added another feather in his cap after defending his Asian Snooker title today in Doha, Qatar. In the final, he defeated Iran’s Amir Sarkhosh by a scoreline of 6-3.

Pankaj grabbed the first three in a row crafting classy breaks of 55 and 50, when Amir attempted recovery by winning the fourth frame.

However, Pankaj maintained his lead by winning the next frame but once again Amir returned to the game by winning another frame.

After that alternate frame win puts both on the scoreline 5-3, where Advani crafted another break of 63 points to win the title once again.

Today morning Indian ambassador at Qatar, Dr Deepak Mittal visited the venue and had a brief meeting with Advani. Dr Mittal was received by founder Cue Sports India and Head - ACBS Media & Communications, Vivek Pathak.

The IBSF President, Mubarak Al-Khayarin, Vice President Jim Leacy and ACBS President, Abu-Salem Al-Nuaimi welcomed Dr. Mittal at the Championship venue and spent some time for vital discussions about the sport.
