Aditya wins the Snooker camp of Whistling Properties Asian Qualifying National Camp 2011 Organized jointly by Gujarat State Billiards Association and Sports Club of Gujarat, but in overall ranking, Pankaj Advani retained his top position with 7240 points. He will now lead the Team India in upnext Asian Snooker Championship 2011 to be held in Indore, India. The other cueists qualified for Asian Snooker 2011 are Aditya Mehta (6484), Lucky Vatnani (6184) and Kamal Chawla (6120)..

 

In the morning session, Kamal could not do anything while playing against Aditya Mehta. Though Aditya did not give much chances, Kamal also failed to capitalize few chances he got. Finally Aditya blanked hi 4-0 and wins the camp competition with total 6 wins out of seven matches played

 

On the other table, it was crucial for Lucky to win the match to retain his 2nd position, but he could not do that. Down 0-2 Lucky made it 2. Fifth frame went upto black ball, which Pankaj won and then Pankaj without giving any chance, smashed a break of 84 to seal the match and retain his top position in overall ranking.

 

Highlight of the camp came today, where Manan Chandra scored a high break of 140 (total clearance) while playing against Anuj Uppal and gained one rank up. Alok also retained his position No.5 overall.

 

After becoming winner of the camp, Aditya got the first prize of LCD Colour TV.

 

All the cueists those will participate in Billiards camp have also arrived and the Billiards camp will now start from tomorrow onwards.
