11.01.2010: Cue Sports India, Turf Club, Selvel, Cue Club Shooters, Deccan Spilt fires; PGI Tigers, TSCA in last 16 stage at PYC-ATC SNOOKER Challenge 2009-10

Cue Sports India, Turf Club, Selvel, Cue Club Shooters, Deccan Spilt fires, PGI Tigers, TSCA knocked out their respective opponent team to qualify for the knock out stage at the sixth edition of the PYC–ATC Snooker Challenge 2009-10 tournament organized by PYC Hindu Gymkhana and sponsored by the ATC Shipping Corporation here today.

In Group B matches Cue Sports India (CSI) outplayed Matunga Monks and Temptation Super Stars with identical 3-0 margin to enter in the last 16 stage. In another encounter of this group Cue Club Shooter shoot out Temptation Super Stars by 3-0. Bhushan Shahade, Abhishek Deshpande and Vinay Jagtap scored for the team.

Selvel team comprising of Kamal Chawla,  Kanan Bashmi,  Neeraj Kumar and Abhishek Raj scored an easy wins over CME by 3-0 and North India Association by 2-1 to enter in ko stage from group E.

09.01.2010: Pune Markers, PYC Victors in Knock-Out Round

Pune Markers and PYC Victors knocked out Mumbai’s Green Baize team with identical 2-1 margin to qualify for the knock out stage from group G at the sixth edition of the PYC–ATC Snooker Challenge 2009-10 tournament organized by PYC Hindu Gymkhana and sponsored by the ATC Shipping Corporation here today.

In today’s league matches Pune Markers put out Green Baze by 2-1. Mohan Jagtap outplayed Kartiki Sharma 64-37, 43-39; while Vishal Shete defeated Sushnat Khade 53-16, 58-41.

In that group PYC Victors also defeated Mumbai’s Green Baze 2-1, thanks to Anand Raghuvanshi and Ravi Bodhani, who scored easy victory for the team.

07.01.2010: Deshpande  leads hosts PYC Giants to win over Dazzlers

Temptation dazzlers suffered two back to back losses as they lost to Hosts PYC Giants and TPJ Spartans 2-1 in their league rounds at the sixth edition of the PYC–ATC Snooker Challenge 2009-10 tournament organized by PYC Hindu Gymkhana and sponsored by the ATC Shipping Corporation here today.

In today’s league matches Salil Deshpande  played a steady game to score a 58-55, 23-54, 63-24 win over Kiran Shetty in a close encounter a take his team PYC Giants to a 2-1 victory over Temptation Dazzlers after both teams were tied 1-1. Karna Mehta won the first match for PYC scoring a 64-49, 61-35 win over Ronak Shinde, while Ashok Shetty of PYC Giants lost to Ameya KAlekar 29-58,25-58.
