Success vs. Joy

Minimize the Thoughts in Your Head

Learn to get rid of all the thoughts that keep circulating in your brain. Keep your mind blank. Try not to clutter your brain with too many thoughts, especially thoughts that are redundant or not useful. Limit your thought process. Dwell on that which is most important to you and shut the rest out. When you are playing a game, the very act of playing well – as perfectly as possible – should be all consuming and nothing else should matter.

An extrovert likes talking to many people about many topics. His mind is more likely to be cluttered than that of an introvert. Whatever the intrinsic nature of your personality, you have to work toward reaching a stage where you can exercise complete control over your mind. Only then will you be able to listen to your inner voice, and find it easier to move toward your core.
