Fisher, who endured a gruelling day yesterday was in superb form today and knocked out Aayush Kumar of Punjab in a completely one-sided battle 11-1.

Aayush, who only won the toss was a mute spectator throughout the match while Fisher was busy exhibiting outstanding game of 9Ball Pool.

Soon she was enjoying 9-0 lead either by making complete clearances or converting unforced errors by Aayush into racks wins.

In 10th frame Aayush got some luck and he managed to win a rack but once again Fisher demonstrated excellent clearances in remaining two frames to seal the match 11-1 and stepped into the semi-finals.

There were some amusing moments also where four rack’s breaks for Fisher resulted in almost identical landing of cue ball and ball No.1. Such things rarely happens in a sport like pool.

Though Rahul won the first rack but Faisal took initial lead by winning next five racks in a row. However, Rahul recovery to narrow down the lead but couldn’t go far and won only two frames before Faisal dominated the entire match and closed the proceedings 11-3.

Faisal will now meet multiple time national champion Alok Kumar who sweat hard to knockout Shivam Arora of Maharashtra 11-9.

Alok Kumar - PSPB

Alok maintained his lead during early stage of play but Shivam constantly followed him and soon went ahead to lead 7-6.

After that Alok made some good clearances and won 3 successive racks to overtake and continue with the same momentum to edge past Shivam 11-9.
