31.05.2016 :: Shoaib wins the 4th North Zone School 6Reds Snooker Championship

Shoaib Khan of Delhi has won the 4th North Zone School Boys 6Reds Snooker tournament after defeating Digvijay Singh of Haryana in a tense battle which lasted for four hours.

Digvijay Started with a bang and was way ahead in the first frame, and Shoaib Khan needed one Snooker on blue ball. Shoaib planted a snooker which Digvijay failed to break and Shoaib cleared rest of the three balls blue, Pink and Black to make it 46-42 in his favour. Next two frames were won by Digvijay with comfortable ease 59-12, 36-24. Shoaib bounced back and in a low scoring frame, he won the fourth 34-23.

The fifth & sixth Frames again were pocketed by Digvijay 48-5, 44-2. It was 4-2 in favour of Digvijay but the next four frames were won by Shoaib, who encashed all the mistakes of Digvijay in subsequent frames. The next four frames Shoaib won 37-15, 42-17,55-19 and 26-12.

The final scores were 46-42,12-59.24-36,34-23,5-48,2-44,37-15,42-17,55-19,26-12.
