12.08.2015 :: Johnson cruises ahead in Gujarat State Junior Snooker

The Winsome Realty Gujarat State Open Ranking Billiards & Snooker Championship for 2015 is under way. The event is jointly organized by Rajpath Club Ltd. and Gujarat State Billiards Association (GSBA).

The Junior Snooker and Senior Snooker events are currently in their initial stages and are been played on a best of 3 frames format.

Today morning, the highlight was in the Junior Snooker event where defending champion and top seed Johnson Narsidani brushed aside Parth Sabnani in 2 frames straight. Narsidani cleared the first game quite comfortably at 65-22. In the 2nd game, giving no chance to his opponent Narsidani scored a 30 break and sealed the match at 64-15.

Johnson Narsidani is a young and promising player of the tournament. He is top seeded in the Junior Snooker Event and 2nd seeded in Senior Snooker as wel as Junior Billiards Event. The 19 year old Narsidani is a brilliant potter and can put up high breaks in the tournament ahead.
