04.09.2015 :: Abhimanyu on a fine run in Gujarat State Senior Snooker

The Winsome Realty Gujarat State Open Ranking Billiards & Snooker Championship for 2015 is under way. The event is jointly organized by Rajpath Club Ltd. and Gujarat State Billiards Association (GSBA).

In the Senior Snooker Round Robin League Stage Top 4, title favourite & 5th seed Abhimanyu Gandhi outclassed 2nd seed Johnson Narsidani in his 2nd match. Gandhi who seems in full form won very comfortably 4-1. Gandhi snatched the first frame to take the lead very convincingly at 70-32. Narsidani replied in the 2nd frame by levelling up at 41-59. But Gandhi won the next 3 frames giving no chance to his opponent at 65-17, 65-58 & 59-13 to seal the match.

The remaining last two matches will be played on 6th September followed by the prize distribution ceremony.

The last match of the Junior Billiards League Stage between Johnson Narsidani & Malav Parikh will also be played on 6th September.
