12 March 2013: Priyank registers come-from-behind win over Akshay

Madhya Pradesh's Priyank Jaiswal registered a come-from-behind victory over Uttar Pradesh's Akshay Kumar to advance to the next round in the RKG Snooker Masters North Zone championship, here today. Jaiswal made a stunning comback after being two frames down to win 11-75 31-60 55-39 49-44 58-49 at the Megapool Academy in Dwarka. Such was the intensity of the game that the last two frames were decided on the black ball.

Also emerging victorious on the fourth day of the championship were Chandigarh's Sameer Bhalla and Delhi's promosing cueist, Parveen Rathi. Bhalla trounced Uttar Pradesh's Vidit Agarwal 3-0 while Rathi defeated statemate Ayush Gwal by an identical margin. In a major upset, Delhi's Neeraj Bansal went down fighting against Jitesh 2-3 while another city boy, Chirag Khurana lost to Maharashtra's Anand Raghuvanshi 0-3.
