Rahul Sachdev upset top seed in Junior Snooker
Rahul Sachdev of
Maharashtra shocked the Top Seed Lalit Dahiya (Delhi) in Round

Championship 2013 being held at Gymnasium Hall of Jiwaji
University, Gwalior (Org. by Gwalior District Billiards and

Rahul kept all
controls to self only since the beginning of the match. He
played the entire match in a much planned manner.

silly mistake and pocketed the first frame. After that Rahul
took all controls in his hands and comfortably won subsequent
frames to outplay Lalit in straight set of frames 3-NIL.
Delighted Rahul
said “I was aware about the caliber of Lalit and did not want
to give any loose string to put myself under pressure. Also I
knew this is his first match and I have the advantage of
playing few matches before in qualifying rounds that helped me
a lot”.
In another
matches of the day, Arjun Mehta from Karnataka defeated Aayush
Guleria (HP) in straight set of frames 3-NIL. Malkeet Singh
from Uttar Pradesh also defeated Sundar Raj (TN) with
