23^rd Hayana State Junior And Senior Billiards And Snooker Championship concludes today at Harayana Billiards SCO-37,Sector 11,pkl with Senior Snooker semi-final league. Defending champion Sameer Bhalla repeated his performance and defeated Divya Sharma 3-0 in best of five frames match . in the first frame Sameer bhalla hit a break of 37 on the very first visit on the table but Divya keeping hi cool covered the lead but could not manage on the pink ball and gave the frame to Sameer bhalla. In the second frame both the players were conscious and were playing very safe but the day was with Sameer bhalla , he managed to clear the table on the coloured  balls . the third frame was again a sea-saw battle , Divya Sharma trailing by two frames was little shaky and missed the ball on 2-3 occasions which Sameer bhalla capitalized and won the frame and the match.As Sameer Bhalla and Divya Sharma won 2 matches each,but Smeer Bhalla was declared the senior snooker champion on frames difference.

Earlier Divya Sharma playing in his full form  out classed Aneesh sainy 3-1.Aneesh sainy known for his straight potting had no answere to divya sharma’s touch of the game.In another match Divya got some good fight from Ankur nanda but won from him 3 frames to 2.

Anil sharrna defended his senior billiards title defeating Divya Sharma 2-1, in the best of three frames of 150 points each in Harayana State Billiards and  Snooker Championship being held at Harayana Billiards, SCO-37,Sector 11, pkl. In the first frame seasoned Anil Sharma playing his best and hitting some good breaks did not give any chance to Divya Sharma and won the first frame 150-40. In the second frame though Anil Sharma was leading in the first half of the frame but Divya came back strongly and showing good potting passed Anil Sharma by leading 100-81.again Anil Sharma missed an easy cannon and gave good position to Divya, who hit a break of 41 and needed only nine points to win the frame. Anil Sharma keeping his cool and making some odd points and giving Divya some safe positions came near to divya and the score was 141-128, but Divya played an extra ordinary shot of red in-off and finish the frame. In the third frame Divya starting well and was leading by 50 points when the score was 75-25 but again Anil Sharma known for his killing instinct started playing his natural game and won the frame 150-143.

Earlier in the semi-final league, Anil Sharma defeated Ashok Sharma 2-0 and Divya Sharma defeated Chirag arora 2-0.

Himanshu aggarwal from kurukshetra won the junior billiards title defeating all the three opponents in the semi-final league of Harayana State Billiards And Snooker Championship 2009 being held at Harayana Billiards SCo 37,Sector 11,pkl. IN the first match Himanshu defeated Chirag Arora 2-0 scoring 100-61 and 100-82 points in 100 points best of three match. In the second match though Himanshu lost the first frame to Karan Dhir 80-100 but came back strongly hitting good breaks of 37 and 41 in both the frames and won scoring 100-72 and 100-89. IN the third match though Bharat Sharma the junior most participant of the tournament gave a good fight but lost both the frames, the score was 100-59 and 100-78. Karan dhir and Chirag arora will play for the second place tomorrow.

In the senior snooker semi-final league Defendin champion Sameer bhalla won from Aman goyal 3-0. Sameer bhalla known for cool temperament played his game with consistent potting and cue ball control. He hits breaks of 38,36 and 41 in all the three frames.

Anil Sharma,Divya Sharma,Ankur nanda and Ashok Sharma reached in semi-finals of senior billiards event. The senior billiards semi-final league will start from tommorow.

Ankur nanda reaches quarter final in  senior snooker event of 23^rd Haryana state billiards & Snooker championship being held at Harayana Billiards SCO 37,Sector 11,pkl.  Gurav Bharti playing his best and hitting good breaks of 39 and 38 points in first two frames and gave no chance to Ankur Nanda. Gaurav won the first two frames convincingly but Ankur Nanda renowned for his fighting spirits came back in the game and winning the next two frames and leveled the score 2-2. In the final frame though Gaurav started well but lost his rythem in the middle of the frame.Ankur nanda got an easy red ball by which he hit a break of 31 points and won the frame and the match.

In another snooker match Chirag from Kurukshetra won from Rahul Sharma 3-1.Chirag , last year junior snooker champion showed good class and cue ball control won the first two frames easily but Rahul Sharma came back strongly to win the third frame.In the fourth frame went in favour of Chirag.

In the Senior Billiards, Anil Sharma andAshok Sharma reach semi-finals by defeating Pradeep kinger And Karan dhir. Defending champion Anil Sharma had a tough time to beat Pradeep Kinger 2-0 in 150 points best of three match. Both the frames were very close and the score was 150-142 and 150-148.

Prateek thakral shocked every one clinchin the junior snooker title in the on going 23^rd Haryana State Billiards And Snooker Championship bein held at Hrayana billiards SCO 37,Sector 11,PKL.In the semifinal league in junior snooker, Prateek defeated Karan Dhir 2-0 and Nitin from Kurukshetra 2-0,Nitin on the other hand  won his two matches against Karan Dhir and Himanshu Aggarwal  2-0 each. Though Himanshu defeated Prateek 2-1 but he was not in the race because of the frame difference and Nitin got the second place in Junior Snooker Championship . The highest break of 43 was hit by Karan Dhir..

In Senior Snooker Aman Goyal defeated Sunny Bhalla 3-0.Sunny Bhalla could not get his touch in all the three frames, Aman Goyal kept his cool and was hitting small breaks in every visits.He hit breaks of 32,29 and 36.

Pradeep kinger reaches quarter final by beating  Aman Goyal  (3-1) in senior billiards event of Harayan Billiards and Snooker state championship 2009 being held at Haryana Billiards SCO 37,Sector 11,Panchkula, in the first frame Pradeep playing  his best hits two breaks of 32 and 39and beaten Aman by a margin of 31 points scoring 150-119.In the second frame Aman Goyal got his touch and hit a break of 41 points on the very first visit which Pradeep countered  it with 36 points but Aman playing with cue ball control hit another break of 32 points and won that frame in another 5-6 visits.Third and the decider frame was a seasaw battle between both ,but Pradeep had an edge on Aman and won the frame and the match.

In the second Senior Billiards match Karan Dhir gave a scare to Ashok Sharma by winning the first frame 150-129 in the second frame Ashok Sharma controlling his temperament hit 2 good breaks of 31 and 38 won the frame and leveled the score 1-1 and the final frame was a very close encounter between both players they were level at 140 needing 10 points each to win the frame and the match. Karan missed an easy in-off and Ashok Sharma got an easy red pot and made 10 points from there and won the match.

Gaurav Bharti started the 6^th day’s proceedings defeating Amit Rohela 3-0 in Haryana State Junior and Senior Billiards and Snooker Championship being held at Haryana Billiards SCO 37 Sec 11 Panchkula. Gaurav was very cautious right from the beginning. He did not give any chance to Amit and won the first frame easily.But Amit tried to fight back in the second frame. It was a sea saw battle but Gaurav Eventually grabbed the second frame on the pink ball. Having won the first 2 frames, Gaurav started to dominate Amit and sealed the match 3-0 in his favour. During the match Gaurav hit good breaks of 28,32 and 35 respectively

In another match Sunny Bhalla, former champion, got the better of his opponent Vikas from Hisar beating him 3-1.Sunny took command of the match pocketing first 2 frames. In the third frame he missed an easy red and gave Vikas the chance to come back in the match reducing the margin to 2-1. But the seasoned Sunny Bhalla shattered Vikas’s hopes by hitting breaks of 29 and 27 and leading  by 48 points on the coloured balls.Vikas gracefully conceded the frame and match to Sunny Bhalla.

In the Senior Blliards category, Divya Sharma, the last year’s Runner Up, started off on a good note beating Aneesh Saini, former India Number 4 in Junior Snooker Nationals, 2-0 in the best of 3 frames of 150  points format match. Divya got the match in his favour right from the first frame hitting good breaks of 41 and 37. He won the first frame convincingly 150-102. However Aneesh came back strongly in the second frame taking an early lead of 50 points.During the second frame Aneesh hit breaks of 39 and 32. Divya fought back and the score was tied at 140-140. Aneesh missed an easy opportunity playing a cannon and Divya made the remaining 10 points to seal the match 2-0.

The 5^th day of the Senior Snooker category of Haryana State Billiards and Snooker Championship belonged to the seasoned players. The Bhalla brothers, Sunny and Honey Bhalla eased through their first rounds defeating Ashish Mehta and Sahil Malhotra respectively. Sunny, former Snooker Champion was playing the state tournament after the gap of 10 years, but he immediately regained his old form and outclassed Ashish Mehta. In the first frame, though Ashish started well but lost his cue ball control in the middle of the frame and gave too many chances to Sunny Bhalla which he capitalized very well and won the first frame. Second frame was a sea saw battle for both the players but Sunny managed to clear the table on the coloured balls. Third frame was a one sided affair for Bhalla. He won the match 3-0 convincingly.

In the other match Honey Bhalla though missed the shots in the first frame but came back strongly and won the first 2 frames. In the third frame he hit a break of 37 points which his opponent Sahil Malhotra could not counter and lost the match.

In the third match, Amit Ahuja playing his best ever tournament game, thrashed Nikhil from Faridabad in the first 2 frames.Third frame, Nikhil was not ready to give any chance to Amit and fought his way through winning the third frame. But Amit showing his strong determination won the 4^th frame and the match.

The 4^th day saw the complete dominance of Karan Dhir as he reached the Semi-Finals of Junior Snooker category defeating Sumesh Jangra in the deciding frame.He also won his first round match in Senior Snooker category as well. In Junior Snooker, he lost the first frame from Sumesh who hit 2 good breaks of 32 and 29 and did not give any chance to Karan Dhir but in the second frame, Karan Dhir getting his touch hit a break of 29 on his first visit and followed with a break of 34 in the next visit. In the Deciding Frame again he continued his form and won the frame comprehensively.

In Senior Snooker, Gaurav Bharti won the 1^st round match from Deepak Chopra (Panipat) 3-1. Gaurav won the first 2 frames convincingly but the 3^rd frame Deepak Chopra managed to win on the pink ball. In thje 4^th frame, Gaurav playing safe did not give any chance to Deepak and won the frame as well as the match.

Parteek from Shahbad upsets top seed Chirag arora in junior snooker on the 3^rd day of Haryana State Billiards and Snooker Championship is being held at HARYANA BILLIARDS sco-37 sector 11 panchkula,Parteek.

Parteek defeated Akshay bhalla in the 1^st round with 2-0.in the next round he defeated chiarg arora with 2-0.in the 1^st frame chirag showing his class hit a break of 31 leading by 33 points when 1 red ball left with coloured balls on the table.But Prateek has something els in his mind,he starting playing safe and put 4 snooks in a row to bring the lead down.he then potted the red ball with black and cleared  the table.in the 2^nd frame again chirag was leading till the cloured ball but the day was in prateek’s favouf, chirag needed only pink ball to win the frame which he missed and easy pot to prateek and the match as well.

Harpreet Singh (Harry) playing his first ever State Tournament successfully defeated Rohit in the deciding frame on the black ball.

On the2nd day of Haryana State Billiards and Snooker Championship , Bharat Sharma outclassed Gaurav Dhingra In Sub Junior Billiards Event. In The 50 Points Best Of Three Game Bharat Won 2-0 Hitting Break Of  23 In The First Frame AND The 27in The Second Frame. Gaurav Also Played Well But could not match the safety of bharat.

In the Junior Snooker event Chirag Arora playing his best ever game won the match from Siddharth of AMBALA.In the first two frames Chirag did not give any chance to S iddharth.but sidharth keeping cool came back in the game winning 2 frames and bringing the match at level. in the final frame both players played their best but the luck was with chirag, he won the match on the black ball.

23^rd Haryana State Billiards and Snooker Championship started today at 3 pm in Haryana Billiards, S.C.O- 37, Sector-11, Panchkula. In the inaugural match in Sub- Junior snooker event Gaurav Dhingra defeated Bharat Sharma with 2-1. In the first  frame Gaurav playing his best and hitting breaks of 19 and 23 did not give any chance to Bharat. In second frame Bharat keeping his pool played little safe and showing good potting snatched the frame from Gaurav. In the decider frame though Bharat started well but give a chance to Gaurav and Gaurav capitalized well and won the frame. In the other match Bharat defeated Raman with 2-0 and Gaurav too defeated Raman with 2-0.
