Sawant shocked seeded Gama!

Prathamesh Sawant of Thane scored an 73-72, 56-07 first league win over 24^th seed Anthony D’Gama of Poona Goan Institute to register the first upset at the 4th edition of the `Poona Club -Manisha Open and Invitational Snooker Championship 2009”in collaboration with Manisha Construction being organized at the Poona Club tables .

Turf Club’s Zubin Registrar seeded 11^th in the event scored two back to back wins. In the first match he scraped past Chintamani Jadhav ofCorner Pockets 95-12, 61-66, 50(34)-40, and in the second he put out Ishan Bhale of PYC Gymkhana 53-12, 61-09 in his league encounters.
