National 9Ball Pool Championship flags off in Jalandhar

9Ball Pool Championship begins today at The Grand Lilly Resorts,
Jalandhar where Deputy Commissioner of Jalandhar city, Mr. Kamal
Kishore Yadav was the Chief Guest for the opening ceremony.
Secretary of Punjab Association Mr. Alok Kumar welcomed him by
giving a bouquet. Mr. Kumar was also joined by his committee members
i.e. Mr. Sandeep Jalota, Dharminder Lilly, Joy Mehra, Navneet
Malhotra and others.
Mr. Yadav personally met with the local and other state players. He
welcomed them in Jalandhar city and extended good wishes for the
competition. He also wished a big success of the event and lastly
played the opening shot to announce the championship open.
The championship has more than 150 participants from different parts
of the country. The players includes from small towns like Mandi
Gobindgarh to many from farthest states like Telangana, Karnataka,
Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Assam, Mizoram etc.
The final of the championship will be played on 14th November and
during last three days, National women 9Ball championship will also
take place.
