Alok-Rafath wins bronze World Team Championships (Masters)

 


 

Indian masters, Alok Kumar and Rafath Habib, won bronze medal at 2015 IBSF World Teams Championship (Masters) held at Karachi, Pakistan.

The duo was placed in Group A and both won all three group stage matches to claim top seed for knockouts.

In Semis, both gave tough fight to Saleh Mohammed and Zemarai Hassas of team Afghanistan and reached the decider frame but unfortunately they lost the last frame and settled for bronze.

The Indian tour remained one of the most successful for India was the team returned with four medal from Karachi. Earlier, this week, Pankaj Advani won gold in World 6Reds, Vidya Pillai wins Silver and Amee Kamani received bronze in World 6Reds (Women), and now Team Masters bronze for Alok Kumar and Rafath Habib.
