and Amee wins medals for India at World 6Reds Championships

Pankaj Advani becomes 13 time world champion today when he defended
his World 6Reds title at Karachi. In the final played at Movenpick
hotel, he defeated reigning world snooker champion, Yan Bingtao of
China 6-2 in best of 11 match.
Advani started the campaign on shaky node and had lost the first
match of the championship at group stage but after that he succeeded
in all matches. Even his semi final match was tough that went till
decider but he pulled the last frame well to enter the final.
In the final, he did not want to go undue pressure and hence,
quickly bagged first three frames. Though Bingtao made a comeback
and won next two but Advani was cautious and did not give any chance
and dominated next three frames having breaks of 71 and 35 to secure
his title.
In women's category, Indian girls Vidya Pillai and Amee Kamani won
the Silver and Bronze medals at 2015 IBSF World 6Reds Women
Championship.
Where Vidya played phenomenal snooker and reached the final, Amee
Kamani stayed undefeated at group stage and appeared in semi finals.
