Gulati wins inaugural Dr.JD Kohli Memorial All India Open 6Reds Tournament 2014

Sundeep Gulati of Delhi wins the inaugural Dr. J.D.Kohli Memorial All India Open 6Reds Snooker Tournament 2014 that concluded yesterday at Green Baize, Lucknow. In the final he defeated former National 6Reds champion Shivam Arora 5-2.

Sandeep Gulati was just too strong on the day against Shivam Arora and defeated him 5-2 to win the championship. It was one side dominance from Gulati in first three frames when Shivam woke up from the slumber and get on the score board. After that Gulati had no problems winning the next 2 and the Championship.

Earlier in the day the 2 semi finals were also played and they too turned out to be whimpers. Fireworks expected when a present National Champion meets a past National Champion but the match between Varun Madan and Shivam Arora turned out to be anti climatic. Varun gave no fight to Shivam losing 5-2. In the other semi Ayush Kumar did manage to win 3 frames but it was Gulati all the way.

The thank you note and the prizes were given by Tanuj Kohli, Secretary Lucknow Cue Sports Association.
