Aditya Mehta will be conferred with Arjuna Award

Reigning Asian Snooker Champion Aditya Mehta will be conferred with the prestigious Arjuna Award for the year 2012. Aditya is amongst 25 athletes choice made by selection committee headed by 2004 Athens Olympics silver-medalist and well known shooter Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore.

26 years old Aditya Mehta is current National and Asian snooker champion. He won the National Snooker championship twice in a row (in the year 2011 and 2012). He also appeared thrice in the final of Asian Snooker championship and this year he successfully captured the title trophy for India.

Currently he is playing in the Professional circuit of World Snooker.
