Nadeem first to touch MAXIMUM in 6-Red in India

Nadeem Ahmed become the first Indian to touch the maximum in 6-Red Snooker when he smashed 75 (the maximum clearance for 6-Red) in fourth frame of his match against N. Sreenivas (TNBSA) in the Tamil Nadu 6 Red Snooker State Ranking Tournament. Nadeem though finally lost the match 3-4 but he has every reason to be jubilant, as he is the first cueist in India to record a maximum Break of 75 in the Six Red format in a tournament.

Nadeem Ahmed quite unabashedly admitted to have not really tried for a maximum until he had positioned for the fifth black. The entire clearance was a treat to watch for the Snooker Fans at the Tamil Nadu Billiards & Snooker Association.

In 15 Red format, the only India Geet Sethi has touched the maximum figure of 147.
