Inspite of beating Devendra Joshi and making the tournament best break of 309, Dhruv Sitwala ended up on the losing side losing 313-454 to England's Martin Goodwill in the final of the last event of the series 2008-09 i.e. European Billiards Championship event in Duffel, Belgium on Sunday. This event is part of the English Billiards Open Series of the European Billiards and Snooker Association.
"It is the third final I have lost and in every one of the events I hit the highest break," said Dhruv.
In the semis Goodwill put out the legend Geet Sethi 486-419 while Dhruv beat Joshi 729-307. Sethi, Dhruv, Joshi and Goodwill had topped the groups.
